Reception to Celebrate 66th Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan in Erbil
On 15 February, Ambassador ENDO Akira hosted the National Day reception to celebrate the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan in Erbil. Officials of Kurdistan Regional Government, including His Excellency Mr. Jaafar Sheikh Mustafa, Vice President of Kurdistan-Iraq, His Excellency Mr. Mustafa Qadir Mustafa, Vice President of Kurdistan-Iraq and His Excellency Mr. Safeen Dizayee, Head of Department of Foreign Relations, and the members of diplomatic corps attended the reception. His Excellency Mr. Dizayee delivered a speech as a guest of honor on behalf of the Regional Government.
Ambassador ENDO, in his speech, expressed his congratulations to His Majesty the Emperor on his 66th birthday on 23 February. He also showed his determination to further strengthen the relationship between Japan and Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, after highlighting the history of Japan’s continued support for the reconstruction and development of Iraq, including the Kurdistan region.
