アザド・ヤヒア・サイード・バジュゲル氏に対する叙勲伝達式

 
 
On the 20th February 2019, Mr. Naofumi Hashimoto, Ambassador of Japan to Iraq, delivered the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon upon Mr. Azad Bajger. 

1. The Order was conferred by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan for Mr. Bajger’s outstanding contributions to promoting bilateral friendship and strengthening economic relations in his capacity of Honorary Consul-General of Japan in the Kurdistan region from 2008 to 2017.

2. Mr. Bajger’s personal devotion is highly valued and widely recognized in Erbil, Baghdad and Tokyo. This Conferment of Order comes as an expression of the sincerest appreciation of the Government of Japan and all Japanese people for Mr. Bajger’s contributions. 

3. Ambassador Hashimoto commented that “Mr. Bajger’s achievements will remain inscribed in the memories of the people of Japan for long,” and added that “I take this opportunity to renew my confidence that Mr. Azad will extend continuous support in advocating stronger bilateral ties.”
