Al-Qiyam Private school has adopted the Japanese style education since its establishment in 2015 as an effort to convey Japanese successful education experience to Iraq. Mr. MASAMOTO in his speech at the handover ceremony, expressed his hope that the students of Al-Qiyam Private School will enjoy reading the books and benefit from them. The goal of the Read Japan Project is to use outstanding books to provide readers around the world with an accurate picture of Japan. In particular, the Nippon Foundation and the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research hope to reach out to young researchers and students who are interested in Japan, as well as opinion leaders and intellectuals specializing in areas other than Japanese studies.
