The Reception in Commemoration of the Great East Japan Earthquake

1. On March 14, the Embassy of Japan held the Reception in Commemoration of the Great East Japan Earthquake – towards “Open Reconstruction”- .


2. At the beginning of the ceremony, participants paid one minute's silent tribute to the victims of the disaster. H.E. Mr. Susumu Hasegawa, Ambassador of Japan to Republic of Iraq made a speech stressing the ability of people of Japan to reconstruct its country and its economy.


3. After H.E. Mr. Hasegawa’s speech, H.E. Dr. Rozwsch Nouri Shaways, Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Iraq made a speech expressing support of the people of Iraq to the brotherly people of Japan in the crisis.


4. The Embassy of Japan believes that the reception offer a great opportunity to express its gratitude for Iraqi people as well as the international society and to show all the Japanese efforts to recover from the Earthquake.

احياء ذكرى كارثة زلزال اليابان في بغداد

1. في 14 آذار 2012، اقامت سفارة اليابان احتفالية لاحياء ذكرى كارثة الزلزال الذي اجتاح شمال شرق اليابان والذي يهدف الى اعادة الاعمار المتواصل.


2. في بداية مراسيم الأفتتاح وقف الحضور دقيقة صمت على أرواح الضحايا والقى سعادة السفير سوسومو هاسيغاوا خطاباً شدد به على قدرة اليابان لاعادة بناء البلد والاقتصاد.


3. بعد خطاب سعادة السفير هاسيغاوا, القى السيد نائب رئيس الوزراء الدكتور روز نوري شاويس خطابا عبر عن مدى مساندة شعب العراق الى شعب امبراطورية اليابان الشقيق في محنتهم.


4. تعتقد سفارة اليابان بأن احياء الذكرى كان بمثابة فرصة قيمة للشعب العراقي ليعرف مدى امتنان حكومة اليابان للشعب العراقي و المجتمع الدولي و اظهار جميع الجهود اليابانية لاستعادة النشاط بعد الزلزال.
